Giving Tuesday is here!

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that happens each year after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It’s a time when Canadians, charities and businesses come together to celebrate giving and participate in activities that support charities and non-profits.

We have two days that are good for the economy. Now we have a day that is good for the community.

Every act of generosity counts. Join the movement dedicated to giving back!

This Giving Tuesday:

• Give time – we are always looking for volunteers to help out at our ReStores, our kitchen salvage team and our construction sites, find out how you can get involved with Habitat for Humanity Niagara.
  
  
• Give a donation – give families the opportunity to achieve strength, stability and independence under the roof of an affordable Habitat home. Read Tara and Jim’s story and how their struggles led them to Habitat for Humanity in our “There’s no place like home” holiday campaign.
  
  
• Give your gently used items – our ReStores rely on the generosity of the community to donate their gently used (and sometimes new) items to the store for us to sell and help bring financial support for our work.
