When you purchase a delicious homemade gingerbread house kit from Cravings by Jayne, $5 will be donated to Habitat Niagara, directly helping families in our community.
Jayne Inouye, is a local French pastry chef, who graduated from pastry arts school in France, travelled to Hawaii to learn more of her skill, then opened her own bakery, Cravings by Jayne, last year.
“In fall of 2020 I decided I was going to take the next step into being my own boss, and I haven’t looked back since,” said Jayne.
What a better way to help Habitat Niagara build a house than by building your own gingerbread house!
“I got involved with Habitat for Humanity because the talk around Niagara right now is all about the housing market,” said Jayne. “As a young, non-homeowner it made me reflect on everyone else around me and how I can use my voice to gain attention on a subject that really hits home to me. I want to make a difference in the community I love and investing in your community is investing in yourself.”
Proceeds from gingerbread house kits sold up to December 24, 2021 will be donated to Habitat Niagara.
(Orders can be picked up at Cravings by Jayne, 394 Derby Road, Crystal Beach, or on December 21st and 22nd (2021) at previously selected ReStore location during regular business hours.)
