Brock students lend a hand at Fonthill ReStore

Co-author: Amanda Laprise, Manager, Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement

On Saturday, September 10th, a group of eight Brock University student volunteers spent the afternoon at the Fonthill ReStore, as part of the Brock Cares Day of Service. The day is an annual tradition at Brock, with students participating in community projects across Niagara.

The students accomplished a lot in only a few hours, including relocating shelving, moving and measuring windows, cleaning the outdoor donation area and addition, as well as moving skids and cardboard.

Their efforts were greatly appreciated by Habitat Niagara, and we look forward to welcoming Brock students again soon!
