Help build a house

Come build with us - no construction experience required!

Habitat Niagara’s Build Day program provides organizations, service clubs, churches and even groups of friends a unique way to give back to their community and learn new skills.

Whether your group has never swung a hammer or are already skilled in the construction field, they can all be part of our Build Day program.

Teams currently consist of 4 people; participants must be 16 years of age or older.

Habitat Niagara’s Build Day program is a sponsorship program, therefore in order to participate on a build day registered teams are required to sponsor a build day for a minimum of $2,500; these funds help Habitat Niagara purchase the materials, services and land to build Habitat homes.

Habitat Niagara Build Day Sponsorship includes:

  • Exclusive build day for 4 people
  • Skilled Crew Lead to lead your team
  • Habitat for Humanity Niagara commemorative build t-shirt
  • Lunch and snacks are provided throughout the day
  • Invitation to the Home Dedication Ceremony
  • Recognition of your team on electronic build updates
  • Commemorative team photo certificate of appreciation & thank you letter on behalf of Habitat Niagara
  • Recognition of your business via Habitat Niagara’s social media
  • Recognition of your business via Habitat Niagara’s build schedule with hyperlink to your website
