Free kitchen removal & salvage program

 

Getting ready to start a kitchen renovation or do another major renovation?

We’re here to help! You’ll save hundreds in contractor and waste disposal fees by having our salvage team remove your kitchen and other reusable items for FREE – and give you a tax receipt once it’s sold at one of our ReStores!

We have a team of skilled Habitat staff and volunteers who will carefully remove cupboards, islands, pantries, vanities, and appliances. They'll also cap all electrical and plumbing, sweep up and leave your place contractor-ready - all for FREE! (Note: Some kitchens may not qualify due to age, condition or construction. Additional donations can also be evaluated at time of kitchen removal.)

If you're a business owner renovating or closing down a store - our salvage team can also help you!

Salvage donation process

The salvage team operates Monday to Friday starting at 9:30 am, and most kitchen removals take an average of 3 hours to complete. 

Once you’ve submitted the below information, a member of our salvage team will contact you.

Please send an email to salvage@habitatniagara.ca with the following information:

  • First and last name
  • Photos of the items you would like removed
  • Address where the removal will take place
  • Telephone number
  • Approximate date for the removal (2 – 3 weeks notice recommended)

If you have any questions please call 905-685-7395 x401

If you’ve already removed your kitchen and want to donate your cabinets – we’ll pick them up for FREE, please contact the ReStore location closest to you.
