Habitat Niagara has a fresh new website that reflects Habitat for Humanity’s new brand standards, and also creates a user-friendly browsing experience with useful information about its programs, services and products.
In 2016, Habitat for Humanity produced a new brand standards guide that included creative standards and key messaging to help build an authentic and consistent brand for the organization. As part of these new standards, local Habitat’s had to refresh any collateral or digital platforms as they came up for renewal.
“We were in great need of a new website,” explains Habitat’s Manager of Development and Communications, Dawn Marie Cavasin. “Not only did we have to implement the new Habitat brand standards, but the platform our website was on was outdated and we have grown to include three ReStores which needed to be promoted effectively.”
Habitat Niagara received a grant from the Niagara Community Foundation to assist with funding the project and also received additional support from Chimpanzee, an agency who developed the new website.
The site contains integrated social media buttons for improved sharing capabilities, AODA requirements, faster loading times, a deeper breadth of information about the organization, enhanced ReStore pages, more robust donor recognition sections, new search functionality and of course new brand compliant creative and messaging.
Take a look through the site, we hope you enjoy it!
