Established locally in 1993, Habitat Niagara has constructed 65 homes, served 71 families and created stable and secure housing for 248 children over the past 27 years.
It costs approximately $250,000 for Habitat Niagara to build one home – which we couldn’t do without the support and generosity of the community. Since we do not receive any government funding, we build our houses through donations of cash, gifts-in-kind of products and services, donations of land, participants helping on the build site through our Habitat Build Days and funds generated through our ReStores.
