Jacqueline "Jackie" Denommee
May 16, 1945 - September 30, 2009
Jackie Denommee gave of herself in many ways to the mission of transforming lives through Habitat for Humanity Niagara. Whether building on site with her husband Romeo, sharing devotions, providing meals through her church (Trinity Lutheran), fundraising, or advocating - she touched many lives through her service. On the Building Blitz day for the Community Build in Fort Erie in May of 2007, in the midst of chemo treatments, Jackie arrived on the build site and worked the whole day, side-by-side with the homeowner.
Jackie's legacy lives on through the Habitat homeowners whose lives she gave so generously of herself to transform. Her dedication and commitment was a tremendous inspiration to all who knew her through Habitat for Humanity Niagara, and we are all better servants for having had the experience of knowing her.
