This is Habitat for Humanity Niagara’s endowment fund. You can help address housing needs in Niagara now and in the future by remembering us in your will or making another type of planned gift. A bequest to Habitat Niagara ensures that this commitment continues beyond your lifetime.

Donations to the fund are pooled and invested and the income earned on your gift is used to support current and future home builds. A gift to the fund offers substantial tax and estate planning benefits to donors. Further, donors have the reassurance of knowing their gift will enrich their community for years to come. A planned gift allows you to contribute to Habitat without impacting your current income. Many people set aside a certain dollar amount; others leave a percentage of their estate, or any assets remaining after their family has been provided for.

Additionally, we have programs for insurance policy beneficiary designations.  A professional advisor such as a financial or estate planner, lawyer, accountant, or trust officer will help ensure you are getting the maximum tax and legal advantages allowed for your gift.
