In partnership with the Grimsby Rotary @ Noon club, the Town of Grimsby, and the District School Board of Niagara, Habitat Niagara will build its 33rd home for a Grimsby family.

Nola Gautreau and her 9 year-old son Julian were selected for a Habitat home after attending an application meeting in November 2007. “I always hung onto this dream of owning a home and when I bought this book about tree houses, my son then began to share this same dream. I heard about Habitat and that they were having a meeting to find a family – a long shot I thought, but I had to try for Julian.” explained Nola Gautreau.

Fundraising for the project is underway, with a goal of $60,000 required to begin construction in September 2010.
