Alastair Davis, Chief Executive Officer
Alastair Davis, Chief Executive Officer
Alastair Davis was appointed to the new position of Chief Executive Officer of Habitat for Humanity Niagara in January 2006. He is originally from eastern Ontario and moved to Niagara from Regina in 1998 to assume his former position as V.P. Human Resources with the Niagara Credit Union.
He is committed to community building and has provided 15 years of leadership to the United Way Fundraising Cabinet, for which he received special recognition. He is the past President of the Human Resources Professional Association, a member of the Niagara Home Builders Association and a participant on various National Habitat Canada committees.
Alastair holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from Carleton University and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). He also has a Certificate in Executive Leadership and specialty training in leading change, strategic planning, talent development and organization design.
Alastair enjoys wilderness fishing trips with his buddies and spending time with his family at the cottage and on their boat “Gertrude” at Rondeau Park.

Craig Fowler, Director of Operations
Craig Fowler, Director of Operations
Craig Fowler joined Habitat for Humanity Niagara in early 2008. He brings to his position an extensive sales and marketing background in senior roles with major Canadian corporations in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. An accomplished community builder, Craig has successfully lead volunteer organizations including Kinsmen and recently served as President of The Toronto Transportation Club.
Craig’s key areas of responsibilities include land acquisition, pre-construction design, and business development. His personal goal is to work with advisors, Board Members, staff and the community to strategically increase Habitat’s ability to provide homes to deserving partner families.
On a personal note, Craig and his wife Maureen enjoy leisure time on their Harley Davidson and displaying their 1957 Chevvy show car.

Lisa Aceti, Director of Marketing & Communications
Lisa Aceti, Director of Marketing & Communications
A native of Niagara Falls, Lisa Aceti is a seasoned marketing professional with 15 years industry experience. She spent most of her career in the Toronto market working with some highly recognized global brands like McDonald’s Restaurants, Mattel Fisher-Price and Sprint Canada, before moving back to the Region in 2004 to head up Canadian marketing for World Kitchen brands Corelle, CorningWare and Pyrex.
An active volunteer of HFHN for almost 2 years, she officially joined the Habitat for Humanity Niagara senior staff in January 2009. As our Director of Marketing & Communications, she is responsible for providing strategic business direction, building our brand equity and providing communications leadership. She works closely with our Director of Operations and Director of Retail to provide support for continuous growth and organizational capacity to build more affordable houses.
Her naturally high energy has nothing to do with the amount of sweet treats she consumes. Lisa enjoys baking and is famous for her Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Keith Gowans, Director of Retail & Construction
Keith joined Habitat Niagara in December 2008 with several years of experience in both Retail operations and the construction industry. His retail background ranges from managing several Staples locations to supervising 26 Footlocker stores throughout Ontario. Keith headed up Sales and Marketing for Phelps Renovations, a division of Phelps Homes Ltd. a construction and renovation company based here in Niagara.
As Director of our store operation, he is responsible for retail operations and achieving sustainable revenue growth for our affiliate operation. He looks to expand our community and corporate partnerships and attract a greater base of donations, while continuing to deliver outstanding value to our customers.
In his spare time you can usually find Keith on the trails mountain biking or helping his wife Sandra run their Bed and Breakfast. He is an active member of our community and his church; he regularly provides support to the youth ministry for the diocese of St. Catharines.
